Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white bubbly head. Hayish and malty nose with rubbery and weak caramellish hints. Hayish, caramelly flavour with hoppy peak. After the peak it turns very pleasantly soft and smooth. Citurs with hops and caramel in aftertaste, nice balance.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark, amber beer with a nice little beige head. Very malty with a distinct caramel flavor. Soft and sweet. Very rich beer which has a lot more flavor than the alcohol percentage hints. A real christmas beer which meets the expectations. 231104

(Bottle 50 cl) Reddish brown beer with a small, fine head. Lovely malty body, smooth with an underlying sweetness. Only a discreet bitterness. Very harmonious and well made. 030501

Bottle. Malty, milky aroma. Brown colour, stable creamy head. Flavour is spicy/hoppy. Not very alcoholic. Some aromatic hoppiness in flavour. Low carbonation. A bit too easily drinkable for a doppelbock. But nice enough.

(swing top bottle) Clear straw-yellow colour with a medium fast diminishing frothy white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of citrus fruits and hops. Sweet malty flavour and taste, light body, citric palate and a short slightly dry and hoppy finish. Okay.

Der Schaum sieht aus wie bei Apfelschorle und ist genau so schnell auch wieder verschwunden. Der Antrunk ist malzig und süß, aber auch ein wenig streng. Das Bier wird zunehmend säuerlicher, der Nachgeschmack dagegen ist kaum schmeckbar. Netter Versuch eines Ökobiers, aber nicht mehr. Test vom 28.6.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,6,8,7,7,6 - 6,60
