Bottle. Lightly sweet banana and wheat malt aroma. Orange yellow color - cloudy with little head or efferverscence. A tart apple flavor initially that fades to a light banana and wheat - not a great deal of flavor or body. Pretty light and somewhat bland.

(Bottle 50 cl) Unclear dark brown, bubbly, collapsing head. Weak, fruity esters and some sourish notes. Rather disappointing and unexciting Dunkles Hefe. 300505

1L swing-top bottle
Amber color, lowish head. Fruity, slightly wet papery nose. Neutral and balanced to boredom. Lightbodied, noninteracting finish.

Mir schmeckt dieses Bier nicht. Süffig ja, aber der stark malzig herbe Antrunk gefällt mir gar nicht. Im Mittelteil schmeckt das Zeug so, als würde man Gras kauen. Test vom 10.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,5,9,5,9,5 - 6,30

(bottle 50 cl) Greyish golden with a thick, massive head. Very classical Hefeweizen. Loads of typical fruity notes, although they don’t really unfold somehow. Decent but not exceptional wheat beer. 070205

Jan. 2005. Deep red bock with a tinny off-white head. Sweet maple and buckwheat/clove honey (Martin’s better half actually brought out both kinds for a comparison). Deep sweet honey with light peppery notes. Lighter mouthfeel.

This one poured out a large head, light brown in color, that filled the glass with thick cream over a beautiful brown body. Nice malty aroma. Good mouthfeel as it delivered a well rounded brew that completely hid all alcohol. Smooth and filling.

Clear brown color. Very bad aroma of faint caramel malt, some hop, but mostly skunky vegetable-like sewerwater. Taste is maybe not that bad, but it smells so bad...

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A dark yellow beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is sweet malty. The flavor is malty and dry leading to a slightly hoppy end.

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A clear brown beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor leading to a dry end. This has absolutely nothing to do with christmas, but it’s still an OK beer.
