Norway 🇳🇴
Associated Venue: Kinn Bryggeri
Established in 2009
Here at Kinn we create craft beers in the English and Belgian traditions based on the purest mountain water from Sagafjella. Ancient craftsmanship - open fermentation and bottle conditioning - are important to us. None of our beers are ever pasteurised or filtered, and every one of them is brewed in our two breweries in Florø. Kinn beers are available off the shelf throughout Norway, and we also export to selected countries.

Cask @ Cardinal. Cloudy dark orange body with a small off-white head. Moderate fruity aroma with malt. Flavor is sweet and malty with moderate citric fruitiness and some grass. Quite smooth but way to sweet and could have some more bitter edge in the aftertaste. Not bad, just a bit straightforward.

Two 750ml bottles, brygg nr. 48, carried home from Fenaknoken in Oslo to be enjoyed with friends at social gathering on a Saturday eve. Creamy, white head blanketing the glass. Hazy, golden body. Herbal hoppy aroma, semi-sweet. Smooth sweet-acid taste of fruits joined by wheat and earthy malts. Soft, bittering endnotes. Very suitable with different kinds of food – we paired the beer with cheese, salad and light meat (Tromsø, 15.01.2011).
