Poured from 355mL bottle. Near black with minimal beige head. Jack Daniels, thinner than I would expect, feint soured note, mild roast. A bit disappointed. Just okay.

16oz (thanks, Nick S.!) @ Ryan's after kids' time. Appearance: almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma: lots of charred oak, even some meaty notes maybe, chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, not as thick as I would expect, moderately sweet, with quite a lot of sherry notes, very fruity, lots of nice dark fruits and oak in aftertaste. Overall: good one.

12oz (thx, Nick S.!) @ 🏡 Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: nice vanilla, American oak, loads of chocolate, quite sweet. Taste: along the same lines, very interese, nice body and spicy notes from rye, a lot of chocolate and vanilla. Overall: very nice.

16 oz can. Flavor shows honey and lemon notes. Pils malts, effervescent mouthfeel with a lot of lemon character. Crisp body. Exactly what you would expect to find.

8/16/23 canning, 10/21/23 drinking, thanks, Chris. Clear, pale golden. Small head quickly dissipates. Good minerality, authentic yeast with some papier maché and such. Light, herbal, airy hops stay mostly on the side. Clean. Peppery, with biscuity malts. Yeast character is strong, low hop character. A bit blandish, very light and papery. A touch thin on the finish but clean.

Draft at Clrbetts. Clear bright hellow color white head. Aroma of passionfruit guava pineapple. Taste is bittter with an edge of pine and a dry finish. West Coast IPAs are coming back!
