Cask, Pow, Farnborough. Vague citrus aroma. A hazy gold. Thin bubbly white head. Smooth light bitter with citrus bite. Medium bodied. Crisp. Average carb. Abrupt finish. Decent enough... for a gold.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes Waddington. Deep ruby colour with a white head. Sweetish aroma and taste, malty and light fruit. Medium body.

Cask @ Dragon Inn, Birmingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, flowers, grass, hops and malt. Nice and smooth.

Bottle as Cotleight IPA (at 4% ABV) from a local Aldi store. BBE Sep 2018, poured at home into a UK pinr sleeve on 19th July 2017. Golden amber in colour, cream coloured head. Over chilled, so not much aroma until it began to warm a little in the glass, light citrusy fruit esters did arrive though. Hoppy taste with both piney and citrusy peel like flavours: liked it.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear amber, small white head. Nose is citrus and pine, grassy and grainy. Taste has a bit of punch about it, some citrus kick. Decent enough.

Handpull cask at the Alexandra Arms, Cambridge. I have to say that itโs an alarming bright golden orange colour. Slightly hazy with a small white head and lots of lacing. The aroma is light with notes of sulphur and fleshy apricot. Taste is only briefly sweet before itโs overcome with punchy bittering hop. Long bitter finish with some astringency in the end. Hard citrus and TCP in the aftertaste. Itโs a rough little bird, and maybe calling it a Session IPA is a bit of a stretch. However, I like it. Iโd even have another one if I wasnโt in full ticking mode.

50cl bottle from Aldi, Bracknell, ABV 4.0%. A golden amber pour with a loose white head; fruity aroma; rich malty taste with some caramel and an earthy bitterness; before a drier finish. Pleasant enough, but nothing earth shattering.

Bottle. Aldi. 4.0%. First impressions suggest this is definitely not a session IPA. This is as golde as it gets, in fact. Amber gold, with some haze. Frothy, blotchy, white head. Nose has cereal. Cold tea. Some grassy notes. A bit buttery and cakey. Taste is light, grassy bitter. Light body, feeling a bit slick. Light bitter finish. Ok.
