On tap at the brewery pours a hazy orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose has orange, malt, honeycomb, some soap. Flavor is better, honey, malt, orange, herbs, soap, pine, a little tangerine. Sticky finish. Could be a bit more assertive.

On tap at the brewery pours a murky orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose has apples and oranges, some malt, pine, soap. Flavor is sweet, malt and caramel, orange, tangerine, some soap. Medium bodied and lightly sweet.

On tap at the brewery pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has lemon, straw, yeast, some grist, a little lemongrass. Flavor has soggy grist, floral, lemon and lemongrass, a little perfume, quite a bit of tea. Slightly sweet finish. Interesting.

Taster at the brewery - black pour - minimal lace - nose is strong vanilla and.mild whiskey, along with some chocolate and espresso - slick mouthfeel- flavor is a lot like the nose - strong vanilla, moderate ,coffee, mild whiskey - a little alcohol in the finish - pretty tasty, really - just the.right amount of barrel character.

Pint at the brewery - hazy dark amber - smells and tastes like american strong ale meets saison - strong, sweet caramel.maltiness and some toasty dark bread make.the focus here the malt rather than the yeast, which somewhat squashed here - it shows up at the end as light.esters and moderate spicy.phenolics - some.tangy tropical.acidity - alcohol is pretty evident in the finish - not one of their best.

Interesting experiment here, but a lot of what was good about the base beer is washed out here - the beer is quite sweet, with notes of.gingerbread, brined cherries - the bitters make it taste more like a cocktail than a beer - the spicy phenolics are somewhat present, but this is kind of meh.

These guys have been open long enough now to establish their reputation for using adjncts in just about every beer they make (especially tea), which I.usually hate, but they have proven they can do it well (see their smoked lager) - sadly, this doesn’t quite continue on that track - the lemon peel is.understated, but present enough to distract from what is otherwise a clean, crisp, hoppy american pils, with grassy and floral hop notes - don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but my rating would be a few clicks higher were it not for the lemon (maybe even 3.9 or 4) - don’t mess with pilsner, boys.

Tulip at the brewery - interesting hybrid of dunkelweizen and dubbel - they used a blend of hefeweizen and farmhouse yeast and threw in oak chips for good measure - the result could have been a disaster, but it isn’t - dark amber with a light haze - nose of toffee, dark fruit, toasted oak/vanilla, clove, light dustiness - flavor is more dubbel than dunkelweizen - nutty, rich malt, plum, raisin, followed by some spicy phenolics, a touch of clove, some dust/basement, dark bread - warming alcohol finishes - cool beer.

Tap at the.brewery - really interesting brew - flavors of vanilla, mint, grass, rosemary - clean malt profile - a bit of rice - moderate bitteness - tea is understated, adding some refreshig, bright herbal character - nice.

On tap @ the brewery. Clear dark reddish orange appearance with a tan head. The aroma is very spicy. Some notes of blood oranges, caramel, and burnt sugar. Medium body. Low sweetness, moderate low bitterness. Some phenols. A little clove and black pepper. Alright.
