Sample at the tap room. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, rye and hops. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, rye malt and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a rye and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of rye malt, spice and fruit. Medium body with flavors of spicy rye, caramel malt and fruit. The finish is mildly spicy rye and malt. Above average overall.

Sample at the tap room. Dark brown-black color with some ruby around the edges, and a medium thin light beige head that recedes steadily to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with some chocolate and spice in the background. The finish is roasted coffee and charred malt. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the tap room. The beer pours a hazy purple-brown color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of berries, wheat and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of mildly tart berries, herbal wheat and earthy malt. The finish is fruity with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. Clear deep reddish-copper color with a medium thick fluffy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and dark fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of earthy malt, fruit and a bit of salted caramel. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. Slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of smoked malt, fruit and hops. Medium to full body with a smoky character and flavors of roast malt, citrus and earthy hops. The finish is moderately smoky with a hops and charred malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Medium body with flavors of oak, roast malt, chocolate and mild citrusy hops. The finish is oaky and fruity with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tulip at the brewery - black pour with a fluffy head - the base beer shines through well here, with strong cocoa and mellow coconut - the barrel is present, but not overdone - some toasted oak compliments the coconut well - a hint of cherry - just a hint of spicy whiskey - this is actually pretty damn good.
