This is a bit hard to classify, but more like a black ipa than anything - slick texture - smooth, toasty oak works well with the light roast of the dark malts - some chocolate and smoke - moderate peppery hops finish - interesting and tasty.

Tap at the brewery - hazy orange - a bit more malt-forward and bready than you might expect from.the style - hop profile is simple, mildly citric, somewhat sharp in acidity - needs work, but drinkable.

Tap at the brewery - a simple, but clean and flavorful blonde, which I assume is what they were going for - mild bready, medium.sweet malt, followed by grassy, moderately bitter hops, and a slight mineral character in a crisp finish - pretty solid.

Tap at the brewery - solid black ipa - medium sweet malt profile dries out and gets roasty and lightly smoky through the middle, complimenting the serge of green, woody hoppiness that arrives and reaches a peak for the finish - creamy texture - nice balance - tasty.

Tap at the brewery - dark brown, nearly black - interesting twist on a porter - moderate vanilla and some toasty, woody, almost smoky character to it - some bitter chocolate and tobacco before some vanilla cream sweetness finishes - interesting.

Tap at the brewery - nose is lightly peaty, very mild salt, toasty, bready malt, a touch of toffee - flavor is rich malts, dark bread, leafy bitterness, light smoke, just a hint of savor saltiness that adds an interesting depth - I dig this, but it is slightly watery in texture.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold - refreshingly crisp and dry, without the heavyesters you often get in american saisons - crisp, with notes of hay, grassy, some underlying spicy phenolics - the rye adds a little too much heft for me, but I’m happy with how rustic and dry this is.
