Pint at the brewery - turbid gold, frothy head - frothy texture, but kind of watery body - oak is dominant and a little bitter, washing out anything the hefe yeast expression - mostly tastes like water, wheat, and oak - meh.

Came by late on a Sunday night and was chatting with the staff and got to try this: Pitch black, tan head, vanilla and whiskey aroma with some oatmeal character. Fairly full bodied, sweet flavor of chocolate, smoke, nuts and peat barrel. Drinks super smooth. A nice treat.

Taster at the brewery as "Mo Honey Mo Problems" - clear gold - nice balance of sweet honey and pear, along with balancing spiciness and a white grape-like tartness - alcohol is a little strong, making it a little heavy despite a delicate beginning - ends with Apple skin, pear, white grape.

Hazy copper with a red tint - overall refreshing and tart Grisette that is heavier on the earthy raspberry skins than anything else, but the saison yeast used shines through through the middle and finish, bringing some spiciness on the tail end - light, refreshing, subtle complexity, with some lingering wheat character and raspberry - very good warm weather quaffer - now if only it weren’t 35 degrees outside.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/19/2016. Clear bright yellow-gold color with a minimal head and decent legs on the glass. Aroma of honey, pear and citrus. Full-bodied with a semi-sweet pear character with some herbal honey and sweet maple in the background. The finish is fruity with a pear aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the tap room. Brown-black color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and earthy malt character, with some bittersweet chocolate in the background. The finish is dry with a roast malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
