Panda from Colin Bois. Cheers. Opaque cola brown. Thin foamy beige head. Aroma is spicy with a sweetness to this, over dark cake dough. Gluey. Flavourwise the spice adds a tingle over mocha bitterness and underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 03/05/2026.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate, dark malts, herb, spice, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises cake mix, cocoa powder, faint liquorice, light spice, dark malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Fun enough pastry that pulls of the Eccles cake fairly well.

Can. Quite heavily roasted coffee aroma and flavor, with a touch of dark chocolate. Smooth, pleaesant and actually quite tasteful, although it took me a couple of sips to reach that conclusion. Sort of one-dimensional, but nice indeed. 747314 260503

Vague, a bit scattered. Some green and vaguely weedy hop presence, maybe some rind, bitter grass and grain husk, pale malt grains. Has a thinness to it. Head dissipates too quickly. Lacks a little body. Average at best.

So so. Lot of herbal pine, modest bitterness, sun-baked crust, grain husk, dried citrus peel, crackers. Decent condition but not tip top. Alright balance. Drinks OK.
