Description
Andreas Gänstaller used to hire the name, building and installation of Beck-Bräu in Trabelsdorf. Since December 2010 he has brewed in Schnaid under his own name. Beers and recipes taken to the new brewery are moved here. Since then his beer sometimes appears under the Drei Kronen name from 2010-2013 when Gänstaller Bräu had the Zoiglstube in Strassgeich as a tap.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is quite rustic with bready pale malt, some caramel, straw, earthy and leafy notes, touch of honey. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Just shy of the excellence I expected, but very good and unique.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 1 month past BBE. Cloudy gold with moderate sized fluffy white head. Cereal and grain aroma, some sweetness and grassy-floral hop; reasonable freshness. Taste has a nice balance to it with a sweet cereal maltiness with grassy and light herbal hops. Soft carbonation, slightly chewy. Good.

Draught@Akkurat, Stockholm. Amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is smoked malts, mild sweet fruity tones with some wooden and mild caramelly tones too. Flavour is sweet caramel malts, some smoked and toasted tones with mild caramel, some floral and grassy tones with mild wood as well. Lovely body and really tasty overall.
