Aroma is lemon apricot some toffee some grassy hops. Taste is sweet balanced wheat juice with a nice hop counterpoint. Quaffable. +1 overall because I confirmed myself in some self-experimentation that this is still very fun after 4 glasses.

Crowbar, München. Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with ink and a touch of fruit. Sweet roasted flavour with notes of blackcurrant and ash.

Crowbar, München. Dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a touch of pine. Sweet malty flavour with bread and toffee, hints of grass and pine and a light bitter finish.

Aroma is some herbs some hop pallets some grapes. Quite shy. Taste is balanced bitterness and some coffee. A bit stale. Ok. Full bodied Rerate: aroma is a bit finer. Taste less one dimensional. Went up a bit.

Aroma is pretty much sommerfinsternis. Some herbs quite much chocolate and toffee. Taste is full bodied umami and some sweet dark chcolate syrup. Long cocoa and dried leaves finish. Smooth.

Aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon zest.
Tastes similar, with some more biscuit.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, medium bitter, citric, a bit zesty, fruity, a bit yeasty, with passion fruit, some biscuit.
Very nice. Straight and crisp, with a refreshing dryness towards the finish. Nothing outstanding, but a quaffable, classic IPA.

Sampled @ BKL 2018. A almost clear golden beer with a huge white head. Aroma of grassy bitter hops, pale malt. Taste of intense dry grassy hops, peach, lemongrass, long bitter finish.

Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, moderate sweet, medium dry, wooden, with chocolate, soy sauce, liquorice, cocoa powder.
Tasty. Robust and quite dry, with lots of lovely roast notes, while still smooth to drink. Great balance. Straight style example, how I like it.
