Description
We have always been driven to craft the best beer we can, and (in our opinion) the true challenge, consistency. Constant innovation is exciting and engaging, but consistent core beers that you can always depend on, is a challenge that equally drives us.

Our approach to beer development is different than most. We outline the desired finished product, it’s appearance, aroma, mouthfeel and then reverse engineer the ingredients and processes to get our desired final product. Knowing and understanding not just individual ingredients characteristics, but how they interact with each other make this possible.

Draft - Dark roast and dark chocolate. Jet black with a light brown head. Chili peppers, roast and heat. Nice because the flavor of the chili is there not just the heat. It is very spicy though, almost too much.

On tap at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours a thick black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, cocoa, and light-to-medium spiciness. Flavour is much spicier, with shitloads of chili pepper spiciness, which totally dominates, followed by some roast. Thick body, but the intense spice overrides the impie stout qualities. Crazy stuff - unique beer.

Draft pour at the Taphouse. Pours a dark amber with no head. Really faint caramel malt aroma. Initially sweet with some caramel. A little nutty too. Mild hops, and a tad bitter on the finish. Not a bad beer. Enjoyed this.

16 Oz can pour. Pours a copper color. Bitter hops and caramel malt flavors, and a little boozy. Decent flavor here. You can tell it’s strong by the taste. Overall a pretty good IIPA. Will drink again.

Draft pour. Pours light copper with faint wheat aroma. Very light beer. Drinks super easy, and is quite refreshing. Not a whole lot of flavor here, but I can honestly say I enjoy this. Mild wheat and bready flavor. I’ll order it again. UPDATE: I love drinking a beer, and going to Ratebeer and seeing that I had commented that I would like to try it again. Lots of time between tries. Enjoy this more this time around. A little more.flavorful than I remember. Refreshing hop profile. Good beer.
