7.5/10
Smells harsh, but drinks nicely. The bock and the oak barrel pair nicely.

Eye is light brown orangish hint on hazy pale. Very slight cherry nose. First taste is mild cherry and a minimal tart impact, could use more. Palate is not wheat ale bitter as other ellicottville wheat fruit beers I've done and I'm thankful for that. Goes down fairly easy and the co2 level pretty good. In the middle I'm finding this decently balanced, just enough wheat ale bitterness to let you know it is a wheat ale, yet not enough forward to get in yer face. For overall taste, I must say the session is better than expected. Could drink another without much issue.

Pour is hazy pale from a 2$ can obtained at chalet, north lima. Nose is stronger sweetness laced with agave and hints of lime aroma. Pond scum thin head. First taste is quite sharp in bitterness, not like hops, but more like unripe lime peel and pulp. Description is a little misleading regarding the bitterness. Its almost phenolic in nature. Whew. Also, where is the tangy? Absent. Think harsh plastic. Was hoping for more, considering the label but this is certainly a unique IPA displaying all its poorly made immature rookie brewer, sharp bitter colors. Must be the agave and lime. Oh well. Dissapointed, just turned out to me another of a quadzillion IPA out there. Over population of the style fer sher.

Can (10/3/24) from Oliver's Beverage Center, Albany. Hazy (fine particulate mist) golden yellow, tons of sparkle, fizzy thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is vanilla, holiday spices. Taste is vanilla, strong holiday spices and fruit. Smooth, soft texture, medium bodied, lively carbonation and finish as taste. A little early for the holiday beers but didn't want to let this sit any longer. Glad for the opportunity to sample the brewery.

From a bottle, pour is plain old clear pale yellow. Nose is dull mild blackberry perfume. First taste is generic fruit beer; typically subtle, but temperate bland insipid and vapid. Kolsch feel and bitterness is retained. Decent carbonation level. Not impressed with most fruit beers of this genre.
