Explosion de fruits tropicaux au nez. Mangue, ananas, léger gazon. des tons maltés de biscuit au thé. L’alcool est bien senti également. Liquide clair, presque ambré. Bonne mousse dense qui se maintient bien. L’entrée de bouche donne l’impression d’un équilibre parfait entre les notes de biscuit du malt, les agrumes, les fruits tropicaux et l’alcool. le gazon a totalement disparu au profit de légers tons de résine de conifère. Le dosage des saveurs est parfait. Quelle DIPA délicieuse. Le corps est huileux, la texture dense. Un plaisir à chaque gorgée.

500ml bottle from Brou Ha Ha in Gatineau at parents’. Near transparent copper amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is sticky toffee mango and bright citrus. Very rich and dank. Taste is deep dank resin hops with effervescent citrus pith bitterness. Lasting warm bitterness. Not bad at all

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color. Orange-driven IIPA, resiny, pungent, but also with a feeling that this is old. The old feeling is more evident in the final.
Pleasant but not fully convincing.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine, sweet malt, and alcohol. Flavour is fairly boozy, with resinous hops and alcohol. Not overly sweet, just boozy as hell. Not very elegant.

Bottle - Orange and some syrupy notes. Clear gold with a small white head. Woody and peel notes. Sweet and bitter with a light bitter finish. Nothing special, but decent.

Light tan with a slight haze. The head is quite thin. The nose is that sort of stale, cheesy hop along with some chewy pale and biscuity malts. On the palate, there is a lot of bitterness, a lot of sweet pale malt, light alcohol. The hops are cheesy and old, which is disappointing, because they stand out in such a hop-forward beer. I think the beer is decent, but the supply chain is sub-optimal

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright orangey color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of fresh and floral citrusy hops notes with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of fresh and floral citrusy notes with very limited bitterness and quite a bit of residual sugar notes. Body si full with medium carbonation. Well brewed beer but less residual sugar notes would have been even better.

Un beau nez de pamplemousse blanc avec la couleur parfaite (pas que je m’en préoccupe mais bon)... Une mousse onctueuse coiffe une bière bien faite (sans être vraiment "punchée") qui nous laisse sur une grande chaleur d’alcool en finale.

En fût à La Croisée des Chemins. Couleur orangée pâle translucide, mousse blanche laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de sapin, houblon résineux, lysol. Goût de sapin, savon, malt, houblon résineux, amertume élevée. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen, collante.

Superbe mousse gâchée par trop de matières en suspension... C’est assez herbeux et terreux à la fois, avec une bonne amertume en finale. Une bonne rousse moderne qui se rapproche de certaines "bitter" selon moi mais que je me déplacerai pas pour acheter à nouveau.
