Flight shared with Jacob and Peter on an extra day after our own „flight“ went on strike. Pale gold with a frothy, white head and a moderate haze. Funky aroma. Pear juice. Something that might be peach. Mildly tart and faint sweet, and that mix proves to be the highlight. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent.

Flight shared with Jacob and Peter on an extra day after our own „flight“ went on strike. Pale gold with a fleeting crown. Funky, yeasty aroma. Mildly bitter. Touch watery. Refreshing and easygoing. Faint clove at the end. Okayish.

Flight shared with Jacob and Peter on an extra day after our own „flight“ went on strike. Black with a creamy, beige head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Moderate bitter. Roasted. Faint, fruity undertone. Medium bodied, mildly watery texture. A little more chewiness and this would be a great traditional porter.

Clear copper pour, with a big beige head. Smoky aroma, subtle sweet malts, light cherry notes with hint of scotch, and caramel. Soft mouth feel, and soft carb. Finish is medium to high bitter, with great smoky scotch flavours, and some woody, grassy hops. A very interesting barley wine, very little sweetness, lots of smoke and very bitter. A great sipper.

Loads of citrusy hops, with an upfront vinous acidic aroma also. The hops turn very tropical, and tart, with a very acidic white wine finish. The malts are clean, and crisp, and balance the hops very well.

On tap at le trefle noir as a guest tap. Hazy orange pour, small off white head. Heaping aroma of pine and grapefruit. Thick mouth feel, medium carb. Sticky sweet malts, mix extremely well with the sticky hops. The finish is highly bitter, and quite resinous in the end. A very nice dipa.
