Bottle from draught, lowcostbeer.com. Aroma of apple pith, skins, vanilla, light woody note. Taste of mild tangy apple juice, semi-dry, caramel, light woody vanilla notes. Smooth medium body. Very nice cider.

Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine. Clear dark gold, some residual white bubbles. Very tart stewed apple juice aroma, light caramelisation, with some funk. Taste of moderatly tart apple juice, sweet, quite clean although some pithiness, modest dryness in finish.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness, online. Pours a clear pale pink with fizzy white head which leaves some bubbles on top. Aroma of rhubarb and custard. I haven't had that in years. Its making me hungry. Taste is sweet with tangy rhubarb, lots of vanilla. Both of these overpower the apples in the background but it is very tasty. Light bodied, refreshing. A good summer drink if in the mood for something sweet and tangy.

Cask at the Red Lion pub with seaviews in Cromer. Clear golden cider, quite strong tasting but its dry textured apple is also strong in both aroma and taste with a sweetness attached.

22/11/2024. BIAB at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours very slightly hazy amber copper with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is sweet, sugary, spiced, cinnamon, nutmeg, rhubarb. Fairly sweet, slightest tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Bit too sweet but quite liked it.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2024. A clear mid orange coloured pour with a halo of loose bubbles. Aroma is semi sweet honey, toffee apple, chewy, apple and custard, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy green apple, hint of toffee, brown sugars, lingering tangy green apple. Well rounded. Little apple pith in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, chewy, light tang, mellow carbonation.

26/7/2024. From BIAB at The Redoubt Beer Festival 2024, Harwich. Pours clear golden amber with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is toffee apple dominated. Very sweet. Moderate body, sticky, low carbonation. Name doesn’t lie. Too sweet to really enjoy.

Box @ Tap and Can. Clear ribena purple appearance. Aroma of blackberries, ribena, very distant parma violet. Flavour profile again presents very little parma violet notes, perhaps a little on the finish but definitely seems to have a one dimensional ribena / blackcurrant character. Expected a little more.
