Bottle 50 cl. Clear orangey brown with a small, beige head. Somewhat odd tart fruit aroma. Medium body, burned malty accents, some ashes and distinct smoke. Malt bitter finish. An atypical dark Smoked. 231208

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black and opaque with a firm, creamy, light brown head. Distinct aroma of burned malt and ashes. Full-bodied, again distinct burned malts and a light smoky note and ashes. Malt bitter finish. A somewhat raw and unrefined Imperial Stout. 231208

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of chocolate and yeast. Medium body, fruity and chocolatey with phenols and again yeast with an ashy touch. Completely lack the typical banana and clove esters as in a German Hefe. But absolutely drinkable. 231208

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a huge and dense tan head. Aroma is smooth caramel malty and with a solid hops profile of grapefruity and slight peachy notes. Smooth hoppy flavoured with citrusy and grapefruity notes come well through here as well. Smooth and solid malty base flavour providing both body and flavour. Lingering fruity hoppy into the far finish.

Tasting at Papsoe
Brown color. Light cinnamon aroma, some hops. Medium sweet caramel flavor, light chocolate and quite evident cinnamon. You see it coming, below average Danish Christmas beer.

Bottled @ EBF 2008. Black body with a small beige head. Very pleasant aroma of roasted malt and a hint of raisins. Flavor is sweet, dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and just a little hint of room/alcohol. A big beer with an impressive balance, no flavors are dominating, everything is in harmony.

Bottled @ EBF 2008. Hazy, amber body with a big off-white head. Aroma of sweetish malt and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, hops and alcohol. Pretty descent and balanced. Easy to drink, dangerously hiding the alcohol and a great storage potential assume.
