Schooner on tap at New Sydney Hotel, Hobart. Looks like flat cola. Zero carbonation, zero head. Mild sweet fruit nose, apple and cherry. Slight zing, nice body. Medium sweet taste of cherry and apple (duh). Quite dry finish, tart apple and background cherry. Looks terrible, tastes terrific.

750ml wired cork bottle from Barny's bottleshop, Sydney, as Limited Release Quince & Apple. Opened with a pop. Deep red-amber colour, pink foamy head that dissipates away and aroma of quince, ripe apple. Taste is sweet & tart, quince, rich fruity, apple, fleshy, berry hints, with some syrupy, jammy notes and drying citric acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, lingering sweet and dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

330ml bottle from The Oak Barrel, Sydney. Purpley red colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of berry, spice & apple. Taste is blueberry, fruity, floral rose essence, apple fleshy, with some drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying berry & tart at the finish. Nicely drinkable.

330ml bottle from Oak Barrel, Sydney. Pours a deep red-brown colour with a pinkish foam head that quickly dissipates away to a thin layer and aroma of apple & cherry. Taste is sweet, dark fruity, apple, cherry, with some tartness and tangy tannic notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry mellow dark fruity finish. Nicely drinkable.
