Pint can, 2020 vintage. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, molasses, dark fruit, bourbon, oak and vanilla. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention or lacing. Starts with roasted malt, dark chocolate, molasses and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with licorice, dark fruit, bourbon and vanilla flavors. Still quite excellent after 5+ years!

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is mostly biscuity malt with a slightly yeasty character and some caramel. Notes of stewed fruits. Flavour is light sweet with only a hint of sour. Okay-ish, not too impressed, a rare Logsdon disappointment.

2018 blend, 0.375l bottle courtesy of Hrabren who got it for my b-day, shared with Ogi as well! Lovely, huge bretty aroma, feeling fresh, carrying stone fruit notes. Lean, dry taste, oaky slightly, stone fruit, citric and bretty, bit tart, mild berries, primarily tart blueberries. The tartness is siightly too excessive really compared to the other notes, which are primarily subtle and delicate. Still, really glad to have tasted it!
