From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is mostly biscuity malt with a slightly yeasty character and some caramel. Notes of stewed fruits. Flavour is light sweet with only a hint of sour. Okay-ish, not too impressed, a rare Logsdon disappointment.

2018 blend, 0.375l bottle courtesy of Hrabren who got it for my b-day, shared with Ogi as well! Lovely, huge bretty aroma, feeling fresh, carrying stone fruit notes. Lean, dry taste, oaky slightly, stone fruit, citric and bretty, bit tart, mild berries, primarily tart blueberries. The tartness is siightly too excessive really compared to the other notes, which are primarily subtle and delicate. Still, really glad to have tasted it!

0.375 l bottle from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb, shared with Marko and Ogi. Marko's birthday present. Unclear orange, minimal off-white head. Aroma is fruity at first, apricot, peach, plum, glue and funky notes later. Lightly cheesy and bretty. Hints of citrus. Flavour is tart cherry, tangerine, lemon zest, ripe peach, sour apricot, lightly cheesy, some funky spice and some berries. I don't sense the pear, but many other fruity notes, yes. Slightly creamy, moderate carbonation, Light tart finish. Complex, rich, soft, nicely done.

Notes from October 2012 Bottle from Made in Oregon. Body is a cloudy mellow gold. Stiff, stubborn, pop-marked off-white head. Smells of pungent clove, bitter rind, & fruit juice. Dusty malt, leaves, alcohol, & Play-Doh on the back end. Unrelated, but the wax on the cap has this awesome ambergris scent to it. Belgian, sticky tripel sort of sweetness. Pretzel-like malt. Lemon twang. Mellow yeast. Beer is pretty warm by now. A little mushroom. Leafy, shy, bitter finish. Frothy. Strong carbonation that faltered when I needed it. A bit too sweet & heavy for me. The brett version thinned things out nicely though.
