deep golden color. Lovely dry peaches and tropical fruit and crackery malt character. Lovely crisp dry mouth with modest bitterness. Dry finish. Excellent take on the style

Slightly hazy deep golden color. Loose rocky head. Somewhat dank but nose of weed, citrus and pine that is modestly sweet. Modest aggressive bitterness with lots of pine, citrus and weed. Mouth feel isn’t that great and carbonation could be higher. Not enough bitterness and alpha acids, so the mouth feel come across a bit weak. Not bad but not fantastic

Slightly hazy golden amber color. Big pronounced citrusy orange character, very low carbonation, almost like it’s on cask. Leafy mouth feel. Hops are fresh and pronounced. Medium bitterness. A crowd pleaser. I like it but don’t love it

Golden color. Frothy white head. Grassy nose with a touch of sweetness and adjuncts - though I didn’t mind. Low medium bitterness. Lacks a bit of body but more grassy than the nose. Very approachable. I did t mind

15/11/2018. Can shared with Danlo and SHIG. Pours orange amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus, caramel, malt and pine with slight spiced notes. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Tropical, piney, slightly peppery finish.

Can thanks to Danlo: Poured a light brown orange with off white head. Aroma is earthy hops and malt. Taste is citrus, hoppy, with balanced malt backbone.

330ml can at Grumbos not the only rater in Suffolk tasting. Slightly hazy orange gold amber colour, white head and tropical fruit hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel with some fruity citrus & pine notes and spicy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry mellow bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

From a 375ml can on 25/9/2018. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a big head which disappears relatively quickly. Has a big, slightly dank, citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Taste wise, you get a big caramel and biscuit malt, oodles of orange, apricot and mango, followed by some pretty firm, resiny, lingering hops. The palate is long, the texture quite slick and a bit sticky, with the carbonation moderate. Balance and flavour are there in spades. Super smooth and just so smashable for a big beer. Every bit as good out of the can as it is on tap. The best Canberra-brewed beer to ever hit the shelves, and one of the best Aussie IIPAs out there. Fucking marvelous stuff.

Can. Brown with an off white head. Aroma of toasted bread crusts, pine, kumquats, mild spices. Medium bodied, just about. Sweet with caught berry jam overtaking bread crust, tropical fruit - passionfruit, glazed pineapple - before slightly spicy bitterness struggles up. Dries out a bit. How on earth is this 7%? I'm often not big on the hoppy amber/ red IPA because the elements don't complement each other.

(On tap) Great looking beer - black with big fluffy tan head. Great aroma too - roasted malt, coffee, port and raisin notes. Medium Body with great carbonation, slightly sticky. Full flavored and well balanced. Initially there's some strong bitterness both hoppy and burnt toffee, black coffee. These get balanced by some dark toffee / molasses sweetness and some raisin sweet and tart notes. Excellent.
