(Tap) Black with small tan head. Very pleasant aroma - wood, smoke, vanilla. Full bodied, smooth with very fine carbonation. Rich complex taste. There’s plenty of whiskey at the start and burnt sugar in the finish. There are notes of vanilla, and hints of wood. Very nice.

(On tap) Pours clear deep red brown with small tan head. Aroma of vinegar with fruity hints. Medium body with fine carbonation, very smooth. Taste is great. There is a good balance between a nice sourness and some dark toffee sweetness. There’s woody notes and cherry notes. Unusual and very enjoyable.

Small glass at brewery. 5%. Pale yellow green cider with zero head, high carbonation. Sweet apple nose. Tart taste, medium body. Sharp sour finish with a hint of umami. Not as sweet as you think it's going to be. Nice refresher.

360ml glass on tap at brewery. Hand-pull. Black beer with crema on top, hence the name. Mild nose of chocolate and cocoa. Mild, sweet. Smooth texture. Good lacing. Nice dry bitter finish. Excellent balance. Not too much coffee. Think I'll come back tomorrow and get a pint!

360ml glass on tap at brewery. Cloudy amber beer with a thin white head. Lovely sour umami nose. Medium body, slight zing. Lots of creamy fruit, eye-wateringly sour finish! I like it but one is enough.

Can, 5% ABV. Somewhat cloudy orange. A white head fizzes away as it pours. 3- Aroma of old lemon, apricots and their stones, wheaty crackers, the barn. A bit of body, creamy with lowish carbonation. Sour and fruity with lambic-like horse/ barn funk. More twiggy than woody at the end. Refreshing and good.
