16/10/2022. Can from Beer Cartel. Pours slightly hazy deep red brown with a small frothy off-white/grey head. Aroma of malt, caramel, biscuit, fruit, nut, rye bread, earthy resinous edge. Medium sweetness and moderate spicy bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation.

12/10/2022. Can from Beer Cartel. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, tropical, mango, orange, citrus, pine. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a tart edge. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Good hoppy old school IPA.

375ml can from Beer Cartel. Pale golden colour, white foam head and aroma of fruity hop, peach, citrus. Taste is sweetish, malt, biscuit, fruity, citrus, peachy, with soapy hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying light bitter finish. Quite OK.

375ml can from National Brewing Centre, Burton on Trent. Pale yellow gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, hops. Taste is pale malt, citrusy, juicy, passionfruit, with hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry juicy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can. Black with a 2cm tan head. Aroma of chicory, roast, tired berries, charred rope, vanilla. Some red wine touches and a nod towards sour red but still a stout with roast and nectarine and spice-tinged bitterness obvious before peppery oak. Soft textured with very well hidden alcohol. Reminds me of a less assertive Bridge Rd Brew 2000. Won't be for everyone but I really like it.

From a 375ml can on 11/7/2022. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden with a smallish head. Has a quite a sharp citric nose, with some dank notes. Tastes of orange and peach with a firmly bitter finish. Full bodied with moderate to average carbonation. A very solid NEIPA with a good dash of character

From a 375ml can on 12/5/2022. Pours a clear golden with barely any head. Does has a light whiff of pizza and oregano, which follows through in the flavour. Light bodied with average carbonation. A subtle novelty beer, which achieves what it sets out to do I guess.

Can. Moderately cloudy orange with a good cm of white head that doesn't last. Aroma of wheaty crackers, orange, coriander, white pepper. Sweet, modestly tangy with a spicy and drying bitter end. All being a bit stronger seems to have done is make it less refreshing.
