Deep brown,Bread and gum flavors and perfectly balanced. I couldn't really taste any of the things M.Jackson writes about the beer, but it seems like he wrote about an aged version while mine scarcely was a year old - the other bottle gets a year or two in the basement :-)

Small bottle
Fruity (apricot) and spicy aroma. Orange chestnut, hard to avoid yeast clumps, big creamy head. Fruitbread base, raisins, citric freshness, a bit marzipan. Relatively light body, somewhat foamy mouthfeel. Sugary aftertaste. It is a really nice trippel - fresh and with a light body, but I don’t know, something was missing - mayby it was the small bottle

Redbrown and a nice head. light taste of strawberries and bananas and nearly perfectly balanced.

My first corked beer (I know, I know) and my second Belgian Ale. This blew the Witkap Pater out of the water (does that rhyme?) but I still feel it was lacking in some areas. Copper colored with an insanely thick head. Mellow fruit undertones are about all that stood out to me. I am looking forward to trying the Bleu.

Darkish brown. Pours thick. Fruity nose. Very malty, velvetty mouthfeel, some butterscotch and toffee. Late bittterness. Complex.

Bottle:
A gusher; not much foam left to form a good head. Brown colour. Sweet aroma with notes of dark berries. Surprisingly thin body. Sweet and warming flavour with some notes of dark currants. Overrated IMHO.

Pale amber, hazy rich head. Banana aroma. Lively and complex. Very flavourful and fruity. Peppery. This is an old favourite I have not sampled for far too long.

Dark copper-coloured beer. Smells good, nice carbonation. I thought the blue was a little bit better, but the white cant cope with this excellent brune!
