Very dark brown with creamy head. Aroma is quite floral and peppery. Thin body. Too gassy. Dark malts come through well. Hop bitterness in the finish.

Draught Dwindling cream head over jet-black beer. Coffee (but from yesterdays’ breakfast), chocolate, coffeebeans, human sweat, peanuts. Coffee, chocolate, mocha, vanilla, cacaomilk. Very pappy, sticky, full-bodied, even buttery feel. Bit disappointing seen Klaas’ usual excellence.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Hazy orange. Nose is dull wheat, bread, sugar, low paper, white bread. Taste is lightly buttery wheat, sugar, hay, old paper, sugar, candy,… Lightly bitter but no rich hop expression just some plain bitterness. Body is wheat, paper, faint butter. Quite bland Hefeweizen beer to be honest with paper & low butter notes, I was hoping more for something along the lines of a wheat IPA. Quite a long way from Schneider Hopfen-Weisse but that is a steep judging criteria.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled twice draft @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Very dark brown, touch black, big creamy mocha head. Nose is mocha, very grainy bitter herbal mocha, grainy chocolate, powdery coffee, all bitter,… Body is fizzy, very grainy,… Taste is rather fizzy, low umami, very grainy, bitter, grainy coffee, fizzy herbal chocolate, bitter, low herbal, mocha,… Rather odd, didn’t full get into it but it was nice, a bit too grainy, bitter with not much balance,… It is an odd BIPA no matter how you look at it.

Nose is dirty dog, moldy cereal, spoiled grain,… taste is weird milky, stale cereal, moldy, grain, zest, spoiled milk, grain base is all nasty cereal, paper to me, huge paper taste,… Milky body, milky & paper, spoiled cereal. I am sorry, I couldn’t get into this one, grain base really seems to put me off here.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled twice draft @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Dark brown going to black, little tanned head. Nose is thick chocolate paste, low pecan, sweet cheap coffee, syrup, mocha,…. Taste is massive thick chocolate past above everything, low artificial chocolate paste taste, low nuts, vanilla is vague, light umami note, touch vanilla but nowhere as much as I expected, faintest touch warming,… Neither taste nor body (although substantial enough) betray the actual ABV. Good but I would have liked it more if I had not read the ingredients prior to tasting it, I didn’t get the peanut & coconut unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Very hazy orange, little white head. Nose is massive hop, bit dank, rich overripe fruit, peach, apricot, low grapefruit. Taste is dank, hay, thick overripe fruit hop, low dough, grapefruit, overripe peach,… Yeast is low. Hop is huge, making the body a bit hard to drink for me ironically,… Hop is huge overripe stone fruit. Quite nice, I didn’t go wild like the others did but I quite appreciated it all the same.
