Bottle from Tderoeck. Thank you very much! Beautiful dark brown/black colour. Nice brown foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, light smoke, vanilla, vinous notes and light chili in the back ground. Very well balanced. Not thick or boozy but very complex and quite easy drinkable. Bitter with sweet hints. Nice beer.

THANKS tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle @ home. Awesome text on label. Bottled on – nice – 25/09/2014. Dark blackish brown, sinking creamy mocha head. Nice mellow smoke in the nose with roasted coffee beans in the back, coffee with cream, cacao powder. Lightly sourish / tad vinous coffee taste, roasted coffee grounds, creamy coffee with cream, milk chocolate, cacao powder, milk chocolate, chilli is very light in the back, good chilli, vanilla, faint roast. Medium coffee with cream body. Smoke is light in the back. Liked it more than the non-commercial version I tried. Touch grainy coffee. Drinks very well, good stuff Klaas, it is very nice to see a beer like this on the Belgium market. Looking forward to future Totem beers. Lovely work. Went well with dinner.
