Bottle. Black pour, creamy brown head. Aroma of creamy milk chocolate, mocha and mild pepper. Taste is mild, with mocha coffee, milk chocolate, mild chili and a little yeast. Nice softly burning finish. Good chili ris.

330ml bottle, thanks to JefVerstraete. Pours deep dark brown with beige head. Quite a thick roasted malt body with a very slight tickling chili tang on the finish. Decent.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Slight liqourice note. Roasted dark malty and dry breadish into the finish.

Good brown head over redbrown-shot black beer. Rich, roasted & chocolate nose, liquorice. Rainwater and a certain sweetness suggested in the aroma. Roasted to burnt, with an initially hesitant, but finally unmistakable flavour/heat from the chilies. Mole sauce watered, sorry, beered down. In the finish I get fresh oak and vanilla. Restrained bitterness, malty sweetness underneath. Medium to well-bodied, slick to viscous, restrained heat. Just right - as the flavour. Great first, Klaas!

27/02/2014 - 33cl bottle from tderoeck. Thanks! Black with nice tanned head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, caramel. Taste : coffee, notes of caramel, chocolaye, spices but in an enjoyable way. Can imagine having this again.

Black colour, firm beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, caramel, milk chocolate and a light smoky touch. Flavour roasted malts, coffee, caramel, cacao powder, hint of chili pepper. Finish coffee, cacao, dark chocolate, smoky chili pepper. Nice!

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (pre-Christmas tasting ) by chriso - London ]. [ As Totem Zipacna ].Dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, burnt malt, roasted, dark roasted, chipotle chili, sweet fruity, spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141207]

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, some vegetal peppers and a yeasty note. Roasty flavor with some coffee, yeast, vegetal chili peppers and a moderately spicy chili finish. Medium-bodied.
