About

Bouteille 75cl de Malt Attacks, muselt cork, no BB. Couleur ambre, col fin beige.

Murky medium amber colour, good thick creamy beige head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma toasted malt, overripe red fruit, sour cherries, syrupy, vinous. Smooth flavour medium sweet, light bitter and a bit sourish, malty, red fruit, alcohol, herbal notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, a touch fruity sourish, woody notes, warming alcohol; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; a bit strange brew, not that well-balanced, despite that quite nice.

330ml bottle from ORB Easter Belgium Beer Festival 2019. Black brown colour, beige foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of dark fruity, malt, roasty, chocolate. Taste is tart fruity, malt, roasty, dark chocolatey, with some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry roasty booy finish. Quite drinkable.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma fine cappuccino persistente, colore marrone/nero, al naso caffè e solvente, in bocca cioccolato fondente caffè, corpo rotondo, watery (nooo per un’ Imperial Stout) alcool ben bilanciato, acidula, lieve astringente carbonazione moderata, attacco dolce con amaro moderato. Bevuto di gran lunga meglio. Manca di carattere. Difettosa? c. Luppoli e Uva Varese 12.04.19
