About
Since 2011, Brouwers Verzet has been brewing its quirky beers in the installations of befriended brewers.
In March 2016, the name changed to Brewery 't Verzet and the beers were brewed in their own kettles in Anzegem, West Flanders.
Brewery 't Verzet stands for balanced beers with a twist.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate, christmas pudding, hazelnut. Taste is toffee, wood spice, dried fruit. Sweet, boozy finish.

Love it. Top notch body, malty red sweetness with a super puckering punch of sourness. Bruges bottle shop

33cl bottle in the Delirium Cafe, Brussels on 21st October 2024. Didn't take to this at all, thought the whiskey and Flemish Red base beer didn't gel or work together.

33cl bottle on 20th October 2024, Botteltje, Ostende. Slight haze in the golden body, lasting white top. Spiced citrus fruity aroma and taste, not sure which style yuo can pigeon hole this one into, anyway, I liked it!

Verzet Baby Jesus, ein Imperial Porter mit Kirschen und Kaffee, Fläschchen (Exp: 21/09/25) aus Tausch - thanks, Jef! - Fast schwarz, beigefarbener Schaum. (20.10.2024.)

A bit muddled, it's probably fairly old. Aged in De Dolle barrels.
