Bottle @ VBPF’12. Brune foncée, col fin beige. Arôme agréable rappelant un bouquet subtile de gousse de vanille sur ce nez malté et léger caramel.En bouche, aigreur modérée pour une ’sour’ très abordable, aigreur persiste en bouche laissant un léger profile fruité avec au final ce mélange parfait d’une malt caramel et une pointe de sucré-aigre de cerise. Le tout se termine sur un côté épicé/boisé qui se répand sur le palais.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours clear golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Grass, grain and perfume. Dry and rough bitterness.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Unclear dark yellow with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, peach, hops and citrus. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, fruit, hops, yeast, harsh, alcohol and medium bitter.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Golden with a big white head. Fruity, herbal and slightly spicy aroma. Sweet fruity and grassy flavour with a decent bitter finish. A bit too much alcohol showing

Bottle. Hazy golden yellow color, small but thick white head that settles quickly, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper and lemon. Taste is bitter and slightly sour lemon, grapefruit and straw. Not bad.

Amber brown colour, no head. Beautiful sour aroma, fruity, yoghurt, vanilla, berries, wood, some tobacco, light apple vinegar. Sour flavour, quite fruity, wood and almonds. Quite dry. Finish quite tart with vanilla and wood tones. Nice!

Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival. Ambrée, col beige crémeux. Arôme est malté et caramel pointe de café qui se donne plus en présence une fois que la bière se réchauffe. En bouche, malt torréfié, léger grillé, levure laissant un profile épicé et herbacé. Caramel sur la fin, fruits noirs/rouges avec un profile sec houblonné et toujours sur la fin ce côté leger de malt chocolaté voire café, le tout se mélange avec une pointe aigre venant peut être de la canneberge.

From wooden cask @ 5de Brugs Bier festival. Ambrée/cuivrée, col disaprait vite laissant qcq bulles beiges sur les rebords du verre. Nez boisé bien fruité, tirant un peu sur la vanille. En bouche, une aigreur légère avec pas mal de fruits noirs/rouges et ce profile aigre/boisé laissant un léger picotement sur la langue. Carbonation est faible laisse transparaitre ce léger profile fruité/malté avec une once de douceur vanillée qui se marie superbement avec le côté aigre.

bottle sampled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: dark red with a touch of ruby beer, tanned head, smells like sweet malts, hint caramel, spices, slightly fruitiness/berries to it, taste is sweet malts with a slightly vinous character to it, a fruitiness which mostly translates into wild red berries which is where the slight sourness probably comes from, hint of chocolate somewhere in the back of the malt, touch of bitterness with some spices, slightly above medium body, creamy, med. carb. – still digging this new brewery

Taste: very sour start, fruity, sour cherries and berries, tobacco bitterness as well, wood notes, yoghurt tartness. Aftertaste: some wood, little bitter, nice sour finish. Can't wait to try that blended version!
