Draught @ Albion (10/7/19). Clear light golden with foamy white head, very faint malt aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly astringent dry malty taste, thin body, longish finish. An unusual brew.

330ml bottle from Brasserie Thiriez, Esquelbecq. Pours a lightly misty gold yellow, good white head. Aroma is gently sweet malt with honeyed caramel hints. Taste is smooth, moderately light with a nice teasing malt sweetness, honeyed caramel. Light bitterness. Nice fresh quaffable biere de garde.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of rustic farmhouse yeast, some pepper, and a beautiful mustiness. Flavour is full of rustic saison yeast, farmhouse notes, pepper, and bitter hops. Very nice rustic character to this. Really good.

330ml bottle as 'La Thiriez Bio', from Brasserie Thiriez, Esquelbecq. Pours a misty blonde, fluffy white head. Fresh malty aroma, some hop zest. Taste is fresh, balanced blond territory with a lovely soft sweetness carrying through. Excellent blonde.

Pepper and nutmeg in the aroma. Thin, biscuit, nutmeg, even a bit grainy. Some bitterness. The flavor is a bit of a letoff compared to the fine aroma.

Orange blonde color. Nice lemon aroma with just a touch of detergent. Hoppy, oily, citric flavor. Long grassy hopbitter aftertaste. Light to medium bodied. Very nice!

Extreme gusher, this large bottle. Malty aroma with cinnamon. Malty sweet flavor with cane sugar and cinnamon. Light to medium bodied. Not unfriendly.
