Description
1901 A promising start - On a good October Sunday in 1901, Jean-Baptiste Jodoin bought and orchard with it’s somewhat hundred apple trees.

1937 His son, Ernest Jodoin, inherited the family orchard in 1937 and during his lifetime acquired more land, which he later sold to his sons. Apples will be the providing income for the family for at least four generations!

1988 The cider house opens! - After a rough start (about 150 bottles in the first 6 months), the tenacity and drive of Mr Jodoin pays off: 5000 bottles in 1990 going onto 100 000 in 2004!

After a rough start, the cider house takes flight!
Striving to offer quality and original products, the cider house is proud to become the leader in traditional method ciders, the first microdistellery in Canada (1999) and the biggest producer in North America of the famous red fleshed apple, the Geneva.
Many times decorated, never equaled, Michel Jodoin cider house is a must stop of the Québec Cidrer circuit, not to mention a flagship of the Canadian food supply industry.

A yellow cider with a white head. The aroma is a spicy apple one, while the flavor has notes of oranges - pretty weird and has a dry end and a thin body.

A yellow cider with an aroma of apples and wood. The flavor is strong of apples, but also slightly burnt and with notes of honey. The mouthfeel is sticky.

A pink cider with an aroma strong with apples, but an aroma that also contains notes of berries - especially cranberries. The flavor is a lovely combination of apples and cranberries, leading to a woody finish.

A pink cider with an aroma strong with apples, but also with notes of berries. The flavor is like a sparkling apple sodapop. Quite nice.

A pink cider with and a sweet apple aroma, that also contains notes of raspberries. The flavor is very sweet with a nice slightly sticky note of apples, combined with notes of cranberries and wood. It has a nice acidity. Put this one down for two years and it definately improves.

I’d call this water colored - no color atall. The flavor is sparkling with notes of apples - no surprise. Very ordinary.

Beautiful cherry red in the bottle.
Wonderful legs follow this deep red/pink colored nectar.
The aroma is a wonderful medley of different apple flavor contributions. Sweet and smooth with a tart finish. Tasty and beautiful to look at. My first 5 for appearances.

RBSG Light blush body with spritzy carbonation. Light apple aroma. Apple aroma and flavor are much more thinned out in this than they should be.

RBSG Brilliant gold color. Sweet apple aroma with some tartness. The flavor starts sweet, finishes tart. Not as complex as the Rubis.
