In the spring of 2011 construction of the brewery started on the shed works and some awesome stainless steel was ordered from Bavarian Brewery Technologies. Hectic times and long hours later led to the first of the casks rolling out on the 19th December 2011.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy deep golden body with a few flecks beneath a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of menthol, fresh apricot and peach. Flavour of nectarine and pale malt. Medium body with a smoother texture. Soft fizz. Nectaron is such a tasty hop, I’d love to see it used more frequently.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow and hazy. Big creamy, snow white head. Nose - banana and wood spice even from a distance. Taste - creamy banana, chantilly cream and clove. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy texture and light bitterness. Overall - almost an exaggeration of the usual banana and clove notes. Seem very authentic.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, wheat crackers, hay, twist of orange, warming clove spice, hint of cinnamon and fresh banana. The taste is dryish initially, bitter - sweet character throughout, wheat cracker, bread, hay, straw, cereal, warming spice, clove rock, cinnamon, orange peel, touch of cheddar and grass with a dry and firm finish. Moderate carbonation and fluffy carbonation. Nice classic style hefe.
