Pours yellow with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of mangos. Elegant grain notes, Nelson hops. Palate is lingering citrus and hops. Pretty good.

Lively pour with a billowing, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of musty funk, aged lemon peel, wheat flakes, a hint of pale wood, fresh grass. Drinks fine overall.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow color with a light cloudiness in the center; finger and a half's worth of white foamy head slid off to leave some light lace
Aroma: lemongrass, herbal, semi-funky, sweet oats, hay, floral tones, earthy, and a light tart character
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a tart/funky sweet character; finishes with a funky/herbal sweet oaty/earthy tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, some smoothness but also a light tart sting hits the tongue (it's extremely and barely noticeable but I noticed it)
Overall: nicely done saison very worthy of having again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow slightly cloudy in color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet grains, hay, floral, lemongrass, herbal, white pepper, earthy, subtle tart and funky
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fairly sweet to tart to funky quality, finishes floral/lemongrassy/herbal/funky
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, some tart/funkiness adds some harshness hitting my tongue but not too much
Overall: pretty nice saison I would have again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: burnt yellow semi-cloudiness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated to leave a lot of messy lace
Aroma: sweet grassy toned hops with light mandarin orange, I think then with some light zesty citrusy hop tones with a subtle earthy sweetness; super subtle woodiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together somewhat sweet to subtle zesty to earthy; mild finish of citrusy to orangey to grassy hoppiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some light smoothness but also some light tart harshness (nothing overbearing)
Overall: pretty nicely done dry hopped saison I would be willing to come back to.

750mL bottles May 2024, drunk 10/1/25.
Clear, soft white grape with a hint of light rose. Large, white head.
Beautiful Brett is understated and complements the fruit of the grape which isn't big, sugary, overdone, but rather rustic, soft, understated, as well. Rustic grains add biscuits and cracker but little malt needed for balance on account of the delicate grape, and acidity.
Light and fruity with excellent, interesting Brett. Nothing overdone or dominant. Body is very light and the flavors are delicate. Almost reminds more of a gently sparkling, dry Riesling. But of course there's the Brett and rustic grain. Low acidity.

500mL bottle from Harvest Wine & Spirits Elmwood, drunk 9/26/25.
Not 100% sure where this belongs, as the bottle has no indication of what barrel it is aged in (or that it is even BA). The store lists it as Bourbon Barrel Multiverse, and having tasted the beer, there is zero doubt it is not barrel-aged, but which barrel seems to remain a mystery. It only says "Batch 1 Bottled January 2018" and 9.1% abv.
Anywho, it's dark and clear with a mocha head that shows good retention.
Beer is in remarkable shape for sitting on the warm shelf for countless years. Slight oxidation in the nose, far less than expected, with prune and raisin and spice from the spirit. Chocolate, fudge, date and cherry with light vanilla and no alcohol whatsoever.
Clean, polished, not oxidized in flavor, with a rich, thick, but not syrupy or sweet body. Bourbon is prominent and incredibly well-integrated with the malt. Beer is malty and dry, very elegant and clean. Reminds me of a Hill Farmstead stout in that sense. Lovely chocolate-bourbon notes linger long.

Can drunk 9/18/25.
As pictured.
Juicy, lots of yellow fruits, stone fruit, tropical fruit skin. White bread, honey, light pineapple lingering. Clean and polished, no alcohol noted.
Malty as hell and with light citrus rind, light pine. Stone fruit, yellow fruits, lots of honey and white bread. Maybe a bit low on bitterness for the big maltiness. But certainly flavorful and juicy.

Canned 9/2/25, drunk 9/14/25.
Clear, honey-blonde. Large, well-retained, frothy, white head.
Nice and malty for a kolsch with proper yeast character (apple, paper, mild white pepper) and a snappy finish that is clean.
Apple and pepper side-by-side with white bread and honey-like malts. Very deep malts leaving it a bit sweeter, perhaps, than it should/could be to really make it ultra refreshing. But there's still a reasonable amount of crispness and light bitterness on the finish. Dries out nicely, as well, with a bland paper-like character that seems very authentic. In a world of kolsch's that are maligned for being too light and watery, this certainly takes it i the other direction.

Northford draught, 9/13/25.
Heavily hazy, blonde-copper-amber. Small, dense, off-white head.
Fruity without any heavy Galaxy astringency/chalk/spruce. But there's a good earthiness with mineral and round pine. Big berry and light melon behind it make for an odd, but not unenjoyable hop experience, and the malt is deep with honey and white bread balancing.
Soft, malty, very low bitterness with earthy, lightly dusty Galaxy showing light pine up front fading to berry, melon and succulent malt. It won't go down as my favorite hop experiment, but it's a quality-made beer, nonetheless.
