bottle from bierpost.com. Golden yellow, tall white head. Grainy nose with a woody hoppy touch. Light-bodied, grainy malty flavours dominate, woody-grassy bitter hops are there, lingering bitter hoppy finish. Typical Northern German Pils.

Bottle. Pretty dark amber, offwhite lace. Light herbal roast, medium full, juicy, fruity flavor, good herbal, juniper like spice notes. Pleasant well balanced finish.

33cl bottle; BB 18th Jan 19. Poured into an 'Augustijn' chalice at home on 3rd Dec 18. I picked this up from some random supermarket in Germany earlier in the year. Nice red/brown body, lightly tanned foam blanket on top; looked good. Malty base to the brew, comes through nicely in the aroma and taste, semi-sweet throughout but not as sweet as some Dunkel bier can be.

Swing-top 330ml bottle bought from djoeye. Big shot when opened. A clear, warm golden body under a patchy white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Dried fruity aromas with earthy malts. Mid-sweet dried fruity taste profile with hints of caramel malts. Malt-fruity ending, oily palate. Fine depth. Like it. (Tromsø 11.08.2018).
