Crowler from BD online. It pours opaque black with a thick, but dissipating dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, unctuous, chocolate cake, zingy orange, orange matchmakers, cardamon and some spice. The taste is dry roasted malt, toasty, cacao, cardamon, orange sherbet, coffee grounds, earth, light umami and a touch of spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Strikes a nice bitter - sweet balance.

Can. Very hazy orange beer, slight mango tint. Small pale cream colour head. Light palate, slightly thin, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light and soft malts bring a light creamy sweetness. Soft pine into decent citric hops. A reasonably juicy orange. Quite a spicy bitter sharp edge emerges. A little mango on the finish. Some tangy bitterness on the finish, slightly metallic. It's a bit of a distraction from the rest of the beer, as in an unwanted one. Decent but was nearly very good.

Oversized frothy white head left a collar on an unclear amber coloured still body. Minimal grape aroma. Medium bodied, flat & lifeless. Bitter vegetal tastes with herb, pith & acidic tastes. This is an endurance test.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of rose & perfume, speculoos, cinnamon, allspice, fig, creamy mocha, vanilla, sweet bourbon, praliné. Taste has sweet speculoos, biscuit, cake, chocolate & vanilla, bittersweet allspice & cinnamon, bit herbal, perfumey. Herbal hoppy finish, sweet & spicy cake lingering, soft bourbon alcohol with vanilla in the back. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Spicy Impy, nice perfumey touch, actually a gentle and easy-drinking heavy Stout.
