Appearance- lively pour, an enormous head. Eventually settles to a deep amber colour with a big beige head. Aroma is malt, some hoppy fruit, stewed fruit, some citrus. Taste is fluffy malt, bitter orange peel, bit of spice, more malt. Quite a full mouthfeel, the oats lift it. A bit rye-like.

44cl can, BB 28/07/2021, batch # 675.

44cl can, bb 06/2021, batch# 672.

Can delivered from the Blue Boar, Leicester and drunk at home. Dark brown, almost black and opaque with a huge creamy light brown head. Smells of cappuccino, vanilla, some tonka bean and a touch of liquorice. Taste is nicely balanced, not too sweet with an earthy bitter hop mid-sip to the finish. More light coffee in the finish. Medium to high carbonation. The tonka bean gives it a lively flavour without overpowering. Surprisingly nice.
