Description
As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from an online shop. Pours clear brown with a thin, foamy off-white head. Pretty fun stuff, has a hearty bit of buggy funk to it, background roast, dark malts, moderate sweetness, tangy berries, old wood, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more ripe, tangy dark fruits, berries, a little bitter ashy roast, subtle acidity. Interesting and drinkable.

Third by cask, shared with Finn on the third day of GBBF Winter 20, Astbury Bar. Coal black body, patchy surface, dotted spots on the glass. Dark grainy malts on the nose, roasted. Blended taste of berry skins and chocolate malts. Roasted malt-driven end. Satisfying. (Birmingham 06.02.2020).
