Can from RAD Beer. Black body with a thick tan head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of black bean, beef stock and coffee. Flavour of ash, rust and toffee with a peppery finish. Soft fizz. An interesting beer that, for me, didn’t quite live up to the promise of the aroma.

440ml can. Black with a huge tan head. Aroma of coffee, tonka, dark chocolate. Taste is bittersweet coffee, tonka, dark chocolate, molasses, a touch of sweet honey, more sweet tonka in the finish, coffee bitterness. Medium body, creamy. Lovely stuff.

Pitch black beer, thick beige collar. Smell is malt, chocolate and caramel with a little something tangy and sweet that I can't quite place. Taste has dark chocolate, rich coffee, earthy malt, honey with a little boozy warmth in there too. Really smooth, probably thanks to the oats, and the warmth lingers. Lovely stuff.

Can. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a decent fine crispness. Fluffy pale malts, a light sweetness. Nice crispy spicy citric hops, bright mandarin tangerine, traces of lemon and pith. Light pine. Not getting anything Ekuanot or Mosaic here but I cannot complain about the crisp hop citric bite here, very refreshing. Light spicy linger.

440ml can from the Offie, Leicester, and drunk during lockdown. Light gold, hazy with a ring of white head. Dank, juicy and slightly medicinal aroma with big tropical fruit hop. Bittersweet taste with a slightly acrid medicinal finish. Boozy hop burn going down. It's not perfect, and won't be my favourite Weird Beard concoction but it's decent enough.
