Sweetish toffee malt in the mouth big balanced hops on the finish. Some heat. Bitterish hops. Big resiny piney hops. Typical west coast dipa. yep it’s good. Love the hops.

Bottle from BottleDog London and drunk at home. Hazy chestnut lasting beige head. Brown malty aroma with some spiciness. Even a touch of slight sourness. Malty and hoppy bitter flavour in the mouth with plenty of hops. I like it very much. Bitter on the finish. Yes it’s a big brown bitter. Some sweetness. Hops are big. ABV is hidden well.

550mL bottle. Pours a deep yellow gold, large white head, soapy lacing. Aroma of is out and floral hops. Not quite as hoppy as I was hoping after what batch 7 showed off. More traditional English IPA than American IPA. Fine, tasty, strong malt backbone, not remarkable.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Thin, clingy, off white head. Granary bread. Resin. That aniseed thing you get from basil that’s past it’s best. Taste is surprisingly dry. Lots of mineral. Lots of metallic bitterness. Palate is fairly light. Finish is more of the mineral, metallic bitterness. Where’s the sweet juiciness? Disappointing.

Bottle at ma maison. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is soft and fruits.....mango, peach, grapefruit, tinned pineapple and a touch of piney resins. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, grapefruit, mild sweetness, toasty grass, light pepper and dough, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, bitter and refreshing. What more do you need in a session IPA???

Keg at BD Shep’s B. It pours clear amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is bitter sweet, tropical fruits, candied orange peel, caramel and a touch of alcohol. The taste is also bitter-sweet, boozy, orange grapefruit peel, mango, resin, piney kick with a warming, sweet finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and somewhat viscous mouth-feel. Too sweet and boozy imo, but enjoyable enough in small measures!
