Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Bottle bought at Real ale shop, Twickenham. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Hoppy, malty, grapefruit aroma. Tastes of grapefruit, slightly hoppy, malty, hint of roast, slight bitterness. This was complex and very nice indeed. Need to purchase some more of this.

Bottle at Bruce’s. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is sweet, orange, mango, sherbet, lactose and refreshers. The taste is pine, earth, decent bitterness, touch of booze, yoghurt, leaf, faint resin and pithy orange with a very dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad, but then again nothing special.

Opaque black beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Sweetish malts with tangy lactose. Trace of dark malt character, but no roast, coffee or bitterness. Malt cream. Mild red berry fruits. Sweet pine. Semi dry finish. Quite a sweet black IPA. What’s not to like?

Hazy deep amber beer, big pale cream coloured head. The head has a very unusual strawberries and cream taste! Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Sweet malt, some lactose. Slightly resinous tangerine, sweetish. The strawberries and cream follow from the head - 5256 hop? Smooth finish with strong bitter aniseed aftertaste. Very unusual. Like it!

Craft islington. Keg. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Nose is amazingly similar to an orange ice lolly! Palate is slightly viscous with prickly carbonation. Sweetish caramel malt base. Resinous hops with perfectly balanced marmalade, pine and skunk. Lesser tropical fruits lurk underneath. Finishes smooth and dry. This is a sweetish and complex (something of a Weird Beard trademark) beer. Very nice indeed! Skunk and pine aftertaste.

Craft islington. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Light and crispy palate. Tangy saison yeast. Sweet bubblegum, short lived. Good generic tinned tropical fruits. A little sherbet adds great zing here. Light fresh orange underneath. Finishes dry and crisp with a trace of lemon.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the King of York Way. Pours lightly hazed, deep gold with a frothy, creamy off-white head. Aroma holds some orange, bubblegum, some toasty leaves. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty bread, light leaves and earth, more orange, some brown bread, slight minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, some dry pine, faint toasted grass, further brown bread, ripe orange and tangerine, slight earth, further suggestions of bubblegum. In the end it’s a pretty tasty, drinkable IPA.
