Black with a good sized tan head.
Nose is coffee bean, maple syrup, dark malts, bourbon nip, molasses.
Taste comprises brown sugar met, coconut, dried fruit rinds, maple syrup, chocolate.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Fun addition to the series if a little overly sweet for my liking.

Bottle, bottled june 2017 opened february 2024 super awesome sweet belgian strong ale aroma with citrussy funky notes, apricot, refreshing malty booziness, even the phenolic notes are super well integrated, this has seemingly benefitted tremendously by staying in the bottle for a number of years. flavor is sweet almonds, malts, apricot, overripe and dried yellow fruits, somewhat oxidized, quite sweet, far from as pleasing than the aroma. sweet malty belgian ale with very clear notes from the barrelling, wood and booze is strong in this one. While it is very sweet it also appears very dry at the same time, which is a bit weird. Flavor changed taste from 6 to 7 after having sipped more of the bottle, it grows on you.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Garnet red color. Creamy pink head. Tangy fruit aroma hints at cherry and cinnamon. Flavori tart and spicy. Notes of dark cherry, vanilla and cinnamon. Smooth and drinkable.

16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold pour. Pillowy white head. Aromas of vanilla, sweet malt and nutmeg. Tangy citrus flavor upfront. Some vanilla oak and nutmeg as well. Then comes the distinctive hop bitterness. Resiny pine and white peppercorns. Long, dry and bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol and some chocolate and mild toffee tones with a bunch of alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, dried fruits, plum, alcohol, overly sweet and some mild soy sauce like elements.

65cl Bottle @ Blåbær Dag - 2023. Pours Black with a small beige head. Roast, soy, calvados, chili and peppercorn. Smooth, slick and oily. Warming finish.

Blåbær Day at Drikbeer. Black with a small tan head. Intense roasted aroma with spices and a touch of fruit. Sweet roasted flavour spice and a pleasant chili burn in the finish.
