Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, candy sugar and light sour. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Sweet and light acidic finish with lots of warming alcohol. 190816

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, alcohol, berries, malt and hops. Light sour finish.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sourish, lactobacillus, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, burned raisin bread, pretty oxidized, tobacco. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour start, lacto, fruity, some vinegar, some ripe banana, vinous notes, red wine vinegar, lemony touch, caramel, dried fruits. Aftertaste: very sourish, dry, fruity, some raspberries, sweet caramel touch, alcohol, bit earthy, hoppy finish. This is definitely infected, I'd say with lactobacillus and acetobacter. Judging from the early ratings, which describe this beer as very sweet, it's safe to conclude this was unintentional. The beer is still pretty drinkable, I think there's much worse infections you can get, but it's not how it should be. Another let down from de Keukenbrouwers... It's time to pull your sh*t together, guys!

Golden colour with light haze and massive, soapy head. Aromas of citrus oils and yeast. Flavour has a light, yeasty, funky tartness but also sugary sweet candy too. Pretty good except for the too high carbonation.

330 ml. bottle @ Bahnhove. Bottled 11/06/16. Deep hazy orange, fluffy creamy white head. Nose is low orange peel, hay, bitter hay, low pine, bit moldy, unfitting yeast, faintly moldy. Taste is fizzy, bitter herbal orange peel, overly fizzy, overly medicinal, low carrot, herbal, bit murky, moldy orange, honey. Overly fizzy. Hop profile is partially decent, this one is overly fizzy, wrong yeast, hop isn’t fully expressed. Onether one of these guys where I have to say that this isn’t really how you should be making an IPA. Partially passable but this isn’t how it should be.

330 ml. bottle @ Bahnhove. Bottled 21/05/16. Dark orange, huge collapsing white creamy huge. Nose is some moldy yeast, quite grainy, medicinal hop, overly fizzy medicinal hop & some jenever. Taste is fizzy, jenever, overly medicinal hop, unfitting yeast (dash), moldy yeast, lemon, finish is quite medicinal, apple, grain alcohol. Body is overly fizzy, hop is overly medicinal, you get moldy notes, too much jenever-like notes, etc. This is basically not how not to make an IPA, hop is overly medicinal, who is fizzy, grainy, medicinal notes etc. these guys are trying but this isn’t really how you should be doing it.
