Thnx to ships. Not sure what happened here, but this ’porter’ is unclear amber. Nowhere near black... Good white head. Smell is sweet, yeasty, nothing at ALL like a porter . overcarbonated. taste is mildly smoked, in a sweet way. grainy, I am pretty amazed that this is called a porter , is has no signs of being anything near the style. Was this a mislabeled bottle? I wouldn’t know what it would be otherwise...

330 ml. bottle. Bottled 19/12/15. Sparkling golden, fizzy white head. Nose is odd dishwashing liquid, soapy hops, yeast, hop is there but it is quite odd, dried health store dried berries, dried apple, faint star anise. Taste is big on soap, big health store dried berries, cheese, dried apple, star anise, more soap, chunk of white sugar. Lively beer, oily with a dash of soap body. Sorachi Ace has a rather unusual profile here, lots of soap but also anise, dried health store berries. Partially interesting, partially the tastes are a bit much, messy, bit odd but enthusing beer. Mixed success for me but I can see this one being a real hit for the right pallet.

Bottle from Billie’s Bierkafetaria. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Grassy nose, sour hints, citrussy, pine. Sweet (banana) with bitter finish. Bit unbalanced. Ok.

Bottle. Pours unclear yellowblonde, ok white head. Smell is bit sweet, aromatic. Taste is bitter, bit grassy, recognizable sorachi, as well as a crispy malty backside. Very low on the bitter side. nice.

4/III/16 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 18/IX/17 (2016-251) Thanks to Beerlover_Ben for picking this one up for me!
Clear orange beer, creamy thick white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit chemical, band-aid, soapy, banana peel. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty metallic, bitter, sourish touch, not much else. Aftertaste: very yeasty, bitter, chemical, band)aid, bit metallic, some grapefruit, grassy touch. Didn't finish my glass.

Bottle shared. Very hazy orange with some floaters and a medium white head. Aroma of dough, floral/honey notes, crisps (the ones shaped like penne pasta without any unique flavour), herbs, strange meaty notes, Plastercine and yeast. Yep this is a really weird one. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a hint of sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very odd, and not in a pleasant way.

33cl bottle from Bierhandel Willems en Zoon shared with Kermis. Very thin white head. Cloudy light amber pour. Fruity with some bitterness. I agree, more of a hoppy triple than a DIPA. Still nice to drink
