20/10/2019. Cask at the Cricketers, Ipswich, last day of the 40th anniversary beer festival. Poured dark amber with a small bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, dried fruit and light hop. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Fair.

7/8/2019. Cask at the Cricketers, Ipswich. Pours clear pale amber with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of hops, flowers, citrus, malt, light biscuit and a hint of resin. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Not unpleasant.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Copper with a creamy head. It has light tasting bittered malts, with a well balanced hoppy fusion to this. It's not too flavoursome though.

Cask @ The Windmill, Stansted. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, flowers, fruits and malt. Nice bitter finish.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Light copper-brown with a head. It's a very floral ale, which does transfer as the advertised liquorice notes. Has a mild sweetness.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a ring of white head; bready aroma with some red berries; grainy in the mouth with some slightly sour fruit; then a light herbal bitterness and a dry finish. Refreshing.
