On tap at Patrick's. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and a nice hoppy flavor. Piney, citrusy. Quite a lot of heavy caramel sauce too, and the alcohol isn't prevailing. Overall, perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but sure delicious. 848415 250807

Tap @ Patricks. Black body under a nice, lacing, medium sized beige head. Pleasant aroma with moderate roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and a bit fruity. Taste has sweet, dark, gentle roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, hint of tonka, fruity hops and well masked alcohol. Fine balanced body with a long lasting, pleasant aftertaste. A really nice dessert beer that might be a crossover to pastry but a lot more real in taste with balanced sweetness and alcohol. Highly enjoyable.

Keg @ Wobbly Brewery, Hereford (brewed on-site). Pours a hazed golden amber, white head. Brewed here. Quite a malty pale.. bit too murky in the glass.. hoppy caramel, not as citrussy as envisioned. On too long perhaps? I sense the original probably didn't taste like this.
