Bottle. Hoppy aroma, grass, sweet fruit. Almost clear copper colour, small head. Watery flavour. Some sweet hoppiness. Aftertaste is nice and fruity. Medium bitterness. Nice for a bottled bitter.

Mahogony color with a small light beige head. Sweet malty aroma with some toffee and dark fruit. Just a bit of xmas spice. Flavor is a caramel malt and fruitiness. The body is a little light. Flavor ends quickly with a bit of a dusty note.

Bottled. Really dark. An IPA-like fresh hoparoma. Rather thin to be a stout. Flavour from coffee and/or dark chocolate.

Big, offwhite, coarse-laced head which shrinks quickly. Very faintly hazy golden body with a tiny amount of carbonation going on. Faint, sweet, apple-like aroma. Sourish, apple-like taste with faintly dry aftertaste. Mouthfeel, and indeed taste, is quite watery, as like apple juice that’s been watered down a little too much. Some spice lingering in the aftertaste. Ok, quite refreshing, but nothing special, and a minus for the wateriness.

Bottle purchased at Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours copper, no head at all. No aroma... really, I smell nothing. Bitter grassy flavor, not much else. Very disappointing.

Bottled. Golden, weakly hazy, color with mediumsized white head which disappears quite fast. Aroma of skunked flowery hops. Flavour is smooth hops, but quite watery. Not bad, but a bit too "one-dimensional" and boring.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pale copper thin white head. Nice citrus, flowery hop aroma. Really rather nice. Good astringent mouthfeel. Nice citrus flavours, grapefruit and some pear drops especially on the finish. After so many heavy winter beers, this was a real pleasant change.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Deep copper/brown colour with thin beige head. Some sticky toffee/hop/spice aroma. Ok in mouth with brown sugar and cinnamon on the finish and tingly hop. Best Wychwood bottled beer that I have had. Goodish winter beer 637314 3.3/5.0 Re-rate cask at The Pheasant, Ashford. 4.8% Clear chestnut colour, lasting beige head from the sparkler. Some spice and malt on aroma. OK dry malt in mouth then more spice and grainy malt on finish. Bit of hop sting on finish on toungue. Passable strong bitter.
