Half pint from the cask at The Railway, Crawley. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, marmalade, caramel, hops & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish.

Notater fra Furuveien, sammen med Petro og Per: klar gylden med ok skum. Svak aroma men heldigvis tydeligere smak, lett floral med citrus og hint av gule druer, dog uten at vi følte oss som særlig bedre mennesker etterpå. 0,5 flaske fra Marens importkoffert.

500ml bottle. Drank from the bottle while riding through Newcastle, England. The Hobgoblin Gold is about as generic as any golden/blonde lager gets. It's fine. Euro pale malt flavor. Very minimal bread notes. It's just okay at best. Medium body and light carbonation. Light bitterness. Underwhelming.
