A lot has changed since the first drop of Carlsberg was shipped to the UK in 1868, and the first Marston's beer brewed in Wolverhampton in 1875 - but our founders' dedication to bringing people together through better beer burns as brightly as ever.

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company is one of the newest, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, who are both shareholders, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history and heritage in UK brewing.

Средней паршивости лагерок. Чутка уступающий в послевкусии своему родному брату Хайнекену. Имеется легкая горчинка.

1 pint can from local shop, rated on 20th January 2pac day 2025. Yellowy gold colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, corn grain, straw, hay, grass. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, corn, some straw, papery, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, tangy bitter finish. Quite bland.

Keg at The Round, Keswick. Clear gold, moderately fizzy and with a lasting white head. Mild grassy flavour, but quite watery. Crisp and clean aftertaste. There's really not a lot to this; it's very dull but it's refreshing enough if you're thirsty I guess.

Literally the only English beer in the first convenience shop I stopped in in the country. I’ve seen it on an association football shirt. Can. Lurid orange, white head. Aroma of light grains, pears, hints of spicy hops. Not so fruity in the taste and a tiny bit of bitterness at the end, but rather bland overall. But no disaster area.

Tight white head stayed in a finely carbonated pale amber coloured body. Medium to full bodied, smooth & dry as bone. Malt, wet cardboard, cereal & biscuit tastes. Had worse.

Tap. Clear amber golden. Apple, old hay, grainy. Taste is not half as bad as I expected; oily creamy aftertaste, surprisingly full front, even a bit chewy and some crunch, decent bitterness. This is not bad, even drinkable.
