Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a small and fizzy white head. Good, sweet apple aroma. Medium body, bubbly, dry apple notes yet with an underlying sweetness. Some tannic astringency in the finish. Authentic and drinkable. 210810

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pale yellow colour, fast disappearing white bubbles. Aroma of pears, some sweetness, dust, yeast. Flavour is sweet pears, followed by some nail polish or plastic. Medium carbonation. Fairly sour finish. Actually quite drinkable.

Can from Sainsbury’s. Dark golden colour, off-white head. Nose of caramel malts, bit metallic. Flavour is caramel malts, metallic, hint of hops. A bit harsh.

Golden coloured with some decent fizz. Aroma of dryish apples, oak and a hint of core and skin. Flavour was similar, with plenty of semi-tart, juice, wood and a dryish finish. Not a bad effort for a supermarket cider.
